The Quiet Spot

Teh Quiet Spot 2The Quiet Spot is a weekly opportunity to quiet your body and mind through contemplative practices, such as meditation, prayer, reflection, or mindfulness.  Reflective practices are great for calming the mind, relieving stress, and cultivating compassion.

Morning Meditation
Every Weekday, 7:30 – 8:00 a.m., Interfaith Chapel

This is a dedicated time for self-led prayer and meditation. The chapel will be prepared with a calming atmosphere for people to participate in personal prayer or meditation.  You can come at any time and sit for just a few minutes or you can come for the entire half-hour.  Meditation pillows and cushions will be available for those who prefer sitting on the ground.

Group Meditation
Every Tuesday (12:15 – 12:45 p.m.) and Wednesday (5:30 – 6:00 p.m.), Interfaith Chapel

You are invited to join a 30-minute meditation, led by Bil Owen, each week.  No experience is required.  Instructions and guidance will be provided, along with meditation pillows and cushions for those who prefer to sit on the ground.  Meditations will be held in the Interfaith Chapel.
