You may pay the citation fine in one of three ways:
- Pay online at laverne.thepermitstore.com
- Pay in person at University of La Verne’s Office of Student Accounts (located in Woody Hall)
- Mail your citation and a check for the full amount to University of La Verne’s Office of Student Accounts
How do I appeal a citation?
You must appeal a citation within 15 days from the date the citation was issued. Appeals received later than 15 days from the date of issue will not be accepted.
Follow the instructions under #4 on the reverse of your citation or go to https://laverne.thepermitstore.com to make an appeal. Once a citation has been issued it is forwarded to an independent third party which will review and rule on all appeals based on the University Vehicle Code. Please do not contact Campus Safety or Transportation and Parking Services regarding your appeal as they will be unable to assist you.
A second-level appeal process is available for those who would like reconsideration of the original decision. Email your appeal to firstname.lastname@example.org for review by the Citation Appeals Committee, which is comprised of students, faculty members and staff members. Once the Citation Appeals Committee has reviewed the appeal, it will give a disposition on the appeal, which is final. The disposition will be returned by email and any fines will be due within seven (7) days of the mailing date and can be paid online at http://laverne.thepermitstore.com or in the Office of Student Accounts.
NOTE: You must complete the initial appeal process prior to moving forward with a second-level appeal process.
Unpaid citations may result in your vehicle being towed at your expense, having your parking permit revoked or having a hold placed on your Student Account. A hold on your Student Account will prevent you from registering for classes and from receiving transcripts upon graduation.
