The University of La Verne requires all vehicles to display a valid parking permit when parking in any University lot and the parking structure Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
No permit is required to park in University lots and the parking structure after 7:00 p.m. and on weekends.
PLEASE NOTE: In University lots and the parking structure, vehicles may NOT park in 20 minute parking stalls, “Reserved” parking stalls, handicap parking stalls without a handicap placard or plate, or in fire lanes AT ANY TIME. Violators may be cited and/or towed at the owner’s expense.
Parking permits are not required for the following University-recognized holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- President’s Day
- Good Friday
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving AND the Friday immediately following Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
NOTE: All other parking regulations remain in effect at all times, including holidays (i.e., red curb, disabled parking zones, loading zones, reserved spaces, etc).

Vehicles in violation of the University Vehicle Code are subject to towing. The University contracts with a local tow company (Sanders Towing, 344 W. Arrow Highway, San Dimas, 909-599-3178). Vehicle owners are responsible for retrieving vehicles from the tow company storage yard and will be liable for the tow fee ($185) and storage fees ($50/day).
